*슬기로운 자는 하나님의 말씀에 귀 기울이고 마음에 간직하고 순종하나, 미련한 자는 행악을 기뻐하고 하나님 대적하기를 즐거워한다.
(Pr 2:1) My son, if thou wilt receive the utterance of my commandment, and hide it with thee;
(잠 2:1) 내 아들아, 네가 만일 내가 한 명령들을 간직하면
(Pr 2:2) thine ear shall hearken to wisdom; thou shalt also apply thine heart to understanding, and shalt apply it to the instruction of thy son.
(잠 2:2) 네 귀를 지혜에 기울이고 또 네 마음이 이해하도록 적용하며 네 아들의 교육에 그것을 적용하리라.
(Pr 2:3) For if thou shalt call to wisdom, and utter thy voice for understanding;
(잠 2:3) 네가 만일 지혜를 부르고 총명을 위해 네 목소리를 내며
(Pr 2:4) and if thou shalt seek it as silver, and search diligently for it as for treasures;
(잠 2:4) 은처럼 그것을 구하며 보물들을 찾듯이 그것을 찾으면
(Pr 2:5) then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
(잠 2:5) 그때에 네가 주를 두려워하는 것을 이해하고 하나님 아는 것을 발견하리라.
(Pr 2:6) For the Lord gives wisdom; and from his presence come knowledge and understanding,
(잠 2:6) 주께서 지혜를 주시며 그분의 임재로부터 지식과 총명이 나오고
(Pr 2:7) and he treasures up salvation for them that walk uprightly: he will protect their way;
(잠 2:7) 정직하게 걷는 자들을 위해 구원을 쌓아두시므로 그분께서 그들의 길을 보호하시리라.
(Pr 3:19) God by wisdom founded the earth, and by prudence he prepared the heavens.
(잠 3:19) 주께서 지혜로 땅의 기초를 놓으셨고 하늘들을 예비하셨도다.
(Pr 3:20) By understanding were the depths broken up, and the clouds dropped water.
(잠 3:20) 그분의 총명으로 깊음들이 터지고 구름들이 물을 떨어뜨리도다.
(Pr 3:21) My son, let them not pass from thee, but keep my counsel and understanding:
(잠 3:21) 내 아들아, 그것들이 네게서 떠나지 않게 하고 내 조언과 총명을 지킬지어다.
(Pr 3:22) that thy soul may live, and that there may be grace round thy neck; and it shall be health to thy flesh, and safety to thy bones:
(잠 3:22) 그리하면 네 혼이 살고 네 목에 은혜가 둘러질 것이요 네 살이 건강하고 네 뼈들이 안전하리라.
(Pr 3:23) that thou mayest go confidently in peace in all thy ways, and that thy foot may not stumble.
(잠 3:23) 너의 모든 길들에서 평강 가운데 확신있게 걸으며 네 발이 걸려 넘어지지 아니하리라.
(Pr 3:24) For if thou rest, thou shalt be undismayed; and if thou sleep, thou shalt slumber sweetly.
(잠 3:24) 네가 그만 두게 되어도 낙심하지 않을 것이요 잠을 자도 달게 자리라.
(Pr 3:25) And thou shalt not be afraid of alarm coming upon thee, neither of approaching attacks of ungodly men.
(잠 3:25) 그리고 네게 위급함이나 불경건한 자들의 공격이 닥쳐도 두려워하지 아니하리라.
(Pr 3:26) For the Lord shall be over all thy ways, and shall establish thy foot that thou be not moved.
(잠 3:26) 주께서 네 모든 길들을 주관하시고 네 발을 견고하게 하사 흔들리지 않게 하시리로다.
(Pr 2:10) For if wisdom shall come into thine understanding, and discernment shall seem pleasing to thy soul,
(잠 2:10) 지혜가 네 이해 안으로 들어오고 분별이 네 혼에게 기쁨이 되면
(Pr 2:11) good counsel shall guard thee, and holy understanding shall keep thee;
(잠 2:11) 선한 조언이 너를 보호하며 거룩한 이해가 너를 지켜서
(Pr 2:12) to deliver thee from the evil way, and from the man that speaks nothing faithfully.
(잠 2:12) 너를 악한 길에서와 속이는 자로부터 구하리라.
(Pr 2:13) Alas for those who forsake right paths, to walk in ways of darkness;
(잠 2:13) 아아 슬프도다 바른 길들을 버리고 어둠의 길들로 걷는 자여
(Pr 2:14) who rejoice in evils, and delight in wicked perverseness;
(잠 2:14) 악한 것들을 즐거워하고 사악한 미혹을 즐기는 자여
(Pr 2:15) whose paths are crooked, and their courses winding;
(잠 2:15) 비뚤어진 길들과 구부러진 방향들로 가는 자여
(Pr 13:13) He that slights a matter shall be slighted of it: but he that fears the commandment has health of soul. To a crafty son there shall he nothing good: but a wise servant shall have prosperous doings, and his way shall be directed aright.
(잠 13:13) 문제를 경시하는 자는 그것을 무시할 것이나 명령을 두려워하는 자의 혼은 건강하리라. 교활한 아들에게는 아무것도 좋은 것이 없으나 지혜로운 종은 하는 일들이 형통하고 그는 바른 길로 인도받으리라.
Jesus Christ who showed God’s perfect love and righteousness on the cross is the completion of the law. Trusting and following Jesus Christ in the Spirit is fearing and keeping the commandments of God.
십자가 위에서 하나님의 완전한 사랑과 공의을 보여주신 예수 그리스도께서 율법의 완성이십니다. 성령 안에서 예수 그리스도를 믿고 따르는 것이 하나님의 명령들을 두려워하고 지키는 것입니다.
(Rv 12:17) And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
(계 12:17) 용이 여자에게 진노하여 그녀의 씨 중에서 남은 자들 곧 [하나님]의 명령들을 지키고 예수 그리스도의 증언을 가진 자들과 전쟁을 하려고 가니라.

The fleshly/physical/artificial Jerusalem on this earth established by the synagogue of Satan is Babylon the great harlot which is about to be judged and utterly burned up.
이 땅 위에 있는 사탄의 회당이 세운 육적/물리적/인공적 예루살렘은 곧 심판받고 완전히 불에 탈 바빌론 큰 음녀입니다.
(Rv 18:4) And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

(Rv 18:7) How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her： for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

(Pr 28:9) He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even he has made his prayer abominable.

*슬기로운 자는 선과 의를 선택하나 미련한 자는 악과 불의를 선택한다.
(Pr 2:20) For had they gone in good paths, they would have found the paths of righteousness easy.
(잠 2:20) 그들이 선한 길들로 갔더라면 쉽게 의의 길들을 찾았으리라.
(Pr 2:21) For the upright shall dwell in the earth, and the holy shall be left behind in it.
(잠 2:21) 의로운 자들이 땅에 거하리니 거룩한 자들이 그 안에 남으리라.
(Pr 2:22) The paths of the ungodly shall perish out of the earth, and transgressors shall be driven away from it.

the upright, the holy: the children of God who believe and follow Jesus Christ(the only way/truth/life/light)
의로운 자들, 거룩한 자들: 예수 그리스도(유일한 길/진리/생명/빛) 믿고 따르는 하나님의 자녀들
the ungodly, transgressors: the children of the Devil who reject and disobey Jesus Christ(the only way/truth/life/light)
불경건한 자들, 불법자들: 예수 그리스도(유일한 길/진리/생명/빛)를 거부하고 대적하는 마귀의 자녀들
*슬기로운 자는 삶의 모든 면에서 하나님의 주권을 인정하고 하나님의 뜻을 찾고 순종하나, 미련한 자는 스스로 지혜롭게 여기고 사람의 생각과 꾀로 살며 하나님을 높이고 두려워하는 마음이 없다.
(Pr 3:5) Trust in God with all thine heart; and be not exalted in thine own wisdom.
(잠 3:5) 네 온 마음으로 하나님을 신뢰하고 네 자신의 꾀로 높아지지 말지어다.
(Pr 3:6) In all thy ways acquaint thyself with her, that she may rightly direct thy paths.
(잠 3:6) 네 모든 길들에서 네가 지혜를 알면 지혜가 네 행로들을 바르게 인도하리라.
(Pr 3:7) Be not wise in thine own conceit; but fear God, and depart from all evil.
(잠 3:7) 네 스스로의 자만심으로 영리해지지 말고 하나님을 두려워하며 모든 악에서 떠날지어다.

(Pr 30:32) If thou abandon thyself to mirth, and stretch forth thine hand in a quarrel, thou shalt be disgraced.

*슬기로운 자는 하나님 앞에서 불완전한 피조물인 것을 알고 겸손한 마음으로 하나님의 긍휼히 여기심과 구원을 간구하나, 미련한 자는 스스로를 높이며 하나님을 인정하지 않고 무시하며 대적하며 거스른다.
(Pr 3:31) Procure not the reproaches of bad men, neither do thou covet their ways.
(잠 3:31) 악인들의 비난거리들을 만들지 말고 그들의 길들을 부러워하지도 말지니라.
(Pr 3:32) For every transgressor is unclean before the Lord; neither does he sit among the righteous.
(잠 3:32) 모든 불법자는 주 앞에 부정하므로 의인들 중에 앉지 않느니라.
(Pr 3:33) The curse of God is in the houses of the ungodly; but the habitations of the just are blessed.

(Pr 3:35) The wise shall inherit glory; but the ungodly have exalted their own dishonour.
(잠 3:35) 지혜로운 자들은 영광을 상속받되 불경건한 자들은 스스로의 불명예를 높이리라.
(Pr 26:12) I have seen a man who seemed to himself to be wise; but a fool had more hope than he.
(잠언 26:12) 내가 자기 스스로 영리하다고 생각하는 자를 보았으나 어리석은 자가 오히려 그보다 소망이 있느니라.
*슬기로운 자는 교훈을 굳게 잡아 놓치지 않고 지키나, 미련한 자는 교훈을 받지 않는다.
(Pr 4:13) Take hold of my instruction; let it not go,—but keep it for thyself for thy life.
(잠 4:13) 내 교훈을 굳게 잡고 놓치지 말며 네 자신을 위해 네 생명을 위해 지키라.
(Pr 6:23) For the commandment of the law is a lamp and a light; a way of life; reproof also and correction:
(잠언 6:23) 율법의 명령은 등불이요 빛이며 생명의 길이고 또한 책망과 교정이니라.

(Pr 9:7) He that reproves evil men shall get dishonour to himself; and he that rebukes an ungodly man shall disgrace himself.
(잠 9:7) 악인들을 책망하는 자는 자신이 수치를 당하고 불경건한 자를 꾸짖는 자는 자신이 망신을 당하느니라.
(Pr 9:8) Rebuke not evil men, lest they should hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

(Pr 9:9) Give an opportunity to a wise man, and he will be wiser: instruct a just man, and he will receive more instruction.
(잠 9:9) 지혜로운 자에게 기회를 주면 그가 더욱 지혜로워지리라. 의로운 자를 가르치면 그가 더 많은 교훈을 얻으리라.
(Pr 10:17) Instruction keeps the right ways of life; but instruction unchastened goes astray.
(잠언 10:17) 교훈은 올바른 생명의 길을 지키나 절제되지 않은 교훈은 잘못된 방향으로 진행되느니라.
(Pr 12:1) He that loves instruction loves sense, but he that hates reproofs is a fool.
(잠 12:1) 교훈을 사랑하는 자는 지각을 사랑하나 책망을 싫어하는 자는 어리석은 자니라.

(Pr 12:15) The ways of fools are right in their own eyes; but a wise man hearkens to counsels.
(잠 12:15) 어리석은 자들의 길들은 그들 자신의 눈에 옳으나 지혜로운 자는 권고들에 귀를 기울이느니라.
(Pr 13:1) A wise son is obedient to his father: but a disobedient son will be destroyed.
(잠언 13:1) 지혜로운 아들은 그의 아버지에게 순종하나 불순종하는 아들은 파멸되리라.
(Pr 13:18) Instruction removes poverty and disgrace: but he that attends to reproofs shall be honoured.
(잠언 13:18) 교훈은 궁핍과 수욕을 제거하려니와 책망들에 주의를 기울이는 자는 영예를 얻느니라.
(Pr 15:5) A fool scorns his father’s instruction: but he that keeps his commandments is more prudent. In abounding righteousness is great strength: but the ungodly shall utterly perish from the earth.
(잠언 15:5) 어리석은 자는 자기 아버지의 교훈을 멸시하거니와 그의 명령들을 지키는 자는 더욱 신중하니라. 많은 의는 큰 힘이나 불경건한 자들은 땅에서 완전히 멸망하리라.
(Pr 15:10) The instruction of the simple is known by them that pass by; but they that hate reproofs die disgracefully.
(잠언 15:10) 단순한 자들에 대한 교훈이 지나가는 자들에 의해 알려지나 책망들을 미워하는 자들은 치욕스럽게 죽느니라.
(Pr 15:12) An uninstructed person will not love those that reprove him; neither will he associate with the wise.
(잠언 15:12) 교훈을 받지 않는 자는 자신을 책망하는 자들을 사랑하지 않으며 지혜로운 자들과도 교류하지 않으리라.
*슬기로운 자는 말과 행동을 삼가하나, 미련한 자는 감정에 매여 혈기를 부린다
(Pr 10:11) There is a fountain of life in the hand of a righteous man; but destruction shall cover the mouth of the ungodly.
(잠 10:11) 의인의 손에는 생명의 샘이 있으나 파괴가 불경건한 자들의 입을 덮으리라.
(Pr 10:19) By a multitude of words thou shalt not escape sin; but if thou refrain thy lips thou wilt be prudent.
(잠 10:19) 말이 많으면 죄를 벗어나지 못하나 네 입술을 제어하면 신중해지리라.
(Pr 10:31) The mouth of the righteous drops wisdom: but the tongue of the unjust shall perish.
(잠 10:31) 의인들의 입은 지혜를 내리나 불의한 자들의 혀는 멸망하리로다.
(Pr 10:32) The lips of just men drop grace: but the mouth of the ungodly is perverse.

(Pr 12:16) A fool declares his wrath the same day; but a prudent man hides his own disgrace.
(잠 12:16) 미련한 자는 자신의 분노를 당일에 선언하나 신중한 자는 자신의 치욕을 감추느니라.
(Pr 14:3) Out of the mouth of fools comes a rod of pride; but the lips of the wise preserve them.
(잠 14:3) 미련한 자의 입에서 교만의 막대기가 나오나 지혜로운 자들의 입술은 그들을 보전하느니라.
(Pr 14:15) The simple believes every word: but the prudent man betakes himself to after-thought.
(잠 14:15) 단순한 자는 온갖 말을 믿으나 신중한 자는 가서 스스로 곰곰이 생각해보느니라.
(Pr 14:29) A man slow to wrath abounds in wisdom: but a man of impatient spirit is very foolish.
(잠 14:29) 노하기를 더디 하는 자는 크게 지혜로우나 조급한 영의 사람은 매우 어리석으니라.
(Pr 15:18) A passionate man stirs up strife; but he that is slow to anger appeases even a rising one. A man slow to anger will extinguish quarrels; but an ungodly man rather stirs them up.
(잠 15:18) 혈기 부리는 자는 싸움을 일으키나 노하기를 더디하는 자는 일어난 싸움까지도 진정시키느니라. 노하기를 더디하는 자는 싸움을 끝내나 불경건한 자는 오히려 싸움을 일으키느니라.
(Pr 15:28) The hearts of the righteous meditate faithfulness; but the mouth of the ungodly answers evil things. The ways of righteous men are acceptable with the Lord; and through them even enemies become friends.
(잠 15:28) 의로운 자들의 마음은 신실함을 묵상하나, 불경건한 자들의 입은 악한 것들에 응답하느니라. 의로운 자들의 길들은 주께 합당하고, 그것들을 통해 적들도 친구가 되느니라.
(Pr 16:32) A man slow to anger is better than a strong man; and he that governs his temper better than he that takes a city.
(잠언 16:32) 노하기를 더디하는 자는 강한 자보다 낫고 자기의 성질을 다스리는 자는 도시를 취하는 자보다 나으니라.
(Pr 18:6) The lips of a fool bring him into troubles, and his bold mouth calls for death.
(잠 18:6) 미련한 자의 입술은 그를 곤경에 빠뜨리고 그의 되바라진 입은 사망을 부르느니라.
(Pr 19:11) A merciful man is long-suffering; and his triumph overtakes transgressors.

(Pr 19:16) He that keeps the commandment keeps his own soul; but he that despises his ways shall perish.

(Pr 20:3) It is a glory to a man to turn aside from railing; but every fool is entangled with such matters.
(잠 20:3) 비방을 피하는 것이 사람에게 영광이나 미련한 자마다 그런 문제들에 얽히느니라.
(Pr 22:24) Be not companion to a furious man; neither lodge with a passionate man:
(잠 22:24) 분노한 자와 사귀지 말며 혈기 부리는 자와 함께 지내지 말지니
(Pr 22:25) lest thou learn of his ways, and get snares to thy soul.
(잠 22:25) 네가 그의 길들을 배워 네 혼이 덫에 걸리지 않도록 주의할지어다.
(Pr 25:28) As a city whose walls are broken down, and which is unfortified, so is a man who does anything without counsel.
(잠 25:28) 방어하지 않아 성벽들이 무너진 도시처럼 상의 없이 아무렇게나 행동하는 자도 그러하니라.
Our only counselor is Jesus Christ. He speaks through the word of God and when we pray in the Spirit.
우리의 유일한 상담자는 예수 그리스도이십니다. 그분은 하나님의 말씀을 통해 말씀하시고 우리가 성령 안에서 기도드릴 때 말씀하십니다.
(Pr 29:11) A fool utters all his mind: but the wise reserves his in part.
(잠 29:11) 미련한 자는 그의 마음을 모두 드러내나 지혜로운 자는 일부 남겨두느니라.

Lord, please lead us to live as children of light who love God and keep your words and works in this wicked and dark generation. Thank you for helping us to abide in you and be protected from evil. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ who is the criterion of good and evil and the only way/truth/life/light. Amen.
