하나님의 말씀을 사랑하여 주야로 묵상하는 자
(Ps 1:1) BLESSED is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, and has not stood in the way of sinners, and has not sat in the seat of evil men.
(시 1:1) 불경건한 자들의 조언대로 걷지 아니하고 죄인들의 길에 서지 아니하며 사악한 자들의 자리에 앉지 아니하는 사람은 복이 있나니
(Ps 1:2) But his pleasure is in the law of the Lord; and in his law will he meditate day and night.
(시 1:2) 그의 즐거움은 주의 법에 있으며 그분의 법을 밤낮으로 묵상하는도다.
(Ps 1:3) And he shall be as a tree planted by the brooks of waters, which shall yield its fruit in its season, and its leaf shall not fall off; and whatsoever he shall do shall be prospered.
(시 1:3) 그는 시냇가에 심겨 제 철에 열매를 맺는 나무 같으며 그의 잎은 시들지 아니하고, 그가 하는 것은 무엇이든지 형통하리로다.
A person who truly admires, loves, and longs for the Lord
진실하게 경외하고 사랑하고 간구하는 자
(Ps 25:1) To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.
(시 25:1) 오 주여 내가 주를 향해 나의 혼을 드나이다.
(Ps 25:2) O my God, I have trusted in thee: let me not be confounded, neither let mine enemies laugh me to scorn.
(시 25:2) 오 나의 하나님이여 내가 주를 신뢰하오니 나로 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 하시고 나의 원수들이 나를 비웃지도 않게 하소서.
(Ps 25:3) For none of them that wait on thee shall in any wise be ashamed: let them be ashamed that transgress without cause.
(시 25:3) 주를 기다리는 자는 아무도 결코 부끄러움을 당하지 않으리이다. 이유 없이 범죄하는 자는 부끄러움을 당하게 하소서.
(Ps 25:4) Show me thy ways, O Lord; and teach me thy paths.
(시 25:4) 오 주여 내게 주의 길들을 보여주시고 주의 행로들을 내게 가르치소서.
(Ps 25:5) Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art God my Saviour: and I have waited on thee all the day.
(시 25:5) 주는 내 구원의 하나님이시니 나를 주의 진리로 인도하시고 가르치소서. 내가 온종일 주를 기다리나이다.
(Ps 25:6) Remember thy compassions, O Lord, and thy mercies, for they are from everlasting.
(시 25:6) 오 주여 주의 긍휼과 자비가 영원하오니 그것들을 기억하소서.
(Ps 25:7) Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my sins of ignorance: remember me according to thy mercy, for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.
(시 25:7) 내 젊은 시절의 죄들과 내 무지의 죄들을 기억하지 마시고 주의 선하심으로 인하여 주의 자비에 따라 나를 기억하소서, 오 주여.
(Ps 25:8) Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he instruct sinners in the way.
(시 25:8) 주께서는 선하시고 올바르시니 그러므로 그분께서 죄인들을 그 길로 가르치시리로다.
(Ps 25:9) The meek will he guide in judgment: the meek will he teach his ways.
(시 25:9) 그분께서 온유한 자를 판단하여 지도하시리니 온유한 자에게 그분의 길들을 가르치시리로다.
(Ps 25:10) All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth to them that seek his covenant and his testimonies.
(시 25:10) 주의 모든 길들은 그분의 언약과 증언들을 구하는 자들에게 자비와 진리로다.
(Ps 25:11) For thy name’s sake, O Lord, do thou also be merciful to my sin; for it is great.
(시 25:11) 오 주여 내 죄가 크오니 주의 이름을 위하여 자비를 베푸소서.
(Ps 25:12) Who is the man that fears the Lord? he shall instruct him in the way which he has chosen.
(시 25:12) 누가 주를 두려워하는 자냐? 그분께서 자신이 택하신 길로 그를 가르치시리로다.
(Ps 25:13) His soul shall dwell in prosperity; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
(시 25:13) 그의 혼은 잘 되고 그의 씨는 땅을 상속받으리로다.
(Ps 25:14) The Lord is the strength of them that fear him; and his covenant is to manifest truth to them.
(시 25:14) 주는 그분을 두려워하는 자들의 힘이시요 그분의 언약이 그들에게 진리를 나타내시리로다.
(Ps 25:15) Mine eyes are continually to the Lord; for he shall draw my feet out of the snare.
(시 25:15) 주께서 내 발을 덫에서 빼내시리니 내 눈이 항상 주를 향하리이다.
(Ps 25:16) Look upon me, and have mercy upon me; for I am an only child and poor.
(시 25:16) 내가 혼자이고 가난하오니 나를 보시고 자비를 베푸소서.
(Ps 25:17) The afflictions of my heart have been multiplied; deliver me from my distresses.
(시 25:17) 내 마음의 괴로움이 늘었사오니 내 고통에서 나를 구하소서.
(Ps 25:18) Look upon mine affliction and my trouble; and forgive all my sins.
(시 25:18) 내 괴로움과 고난을 보시고 내 죄들을 용서하소서.
(Ps 25:19) Look upon mine enemies; for they have been multiplied; and they have hated me with unjust hatred.
(시 25:19) 내 원수들이 많아졌고 나를 불의한 증오로 증오하니 그들을 살피소서.
(Ps 25:20) Keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I have hoped in thee.
(시 25:20) 내 혼을 지키시고 나를 구하소서. 내가 주께 소망을 두오니 나로 부끄러움을 당하게 하지 마소서.
(Ps 25:21) The harmless and upright joined themselves to me: for I waited for thee, O Lord.
(시 25:21) 오 주여 내가 주를 기다리오니 악의 없고 올바른 자들이 나와 함께 하리이다.
(Ps 25:22) Deliver Israel, O God, out of all his afflictions.
(시 25:22) 오 하나님이여 이스라엘을 그 모든 고난에서 구하소서.
Israel: Abraham’s seed = the children of God who abide in Jesus Christ
이스라엘: 아브라함의 씨 = 예수 그리스도 안에 거하는 하나님의 자녀들
(Gl 3:26) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
(갈 3:26) 너희가 다 그리스도 예수님을 믿는 믿음으로 말미암아 [하나님]의 아이들이 되었나니
(Gl 3:27) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
(갈 3:27) 너희 중에서 그리스도 안으로 침례를 받은 자는 다 그리스도로 옷 입었느니라.
(Gl 3:28) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female： for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
(갈 3:28) 거기에는 유대인이나 그리스인이 없고 매인 자나 자유로운 자가 없으며 남자나 여자가 없나니 너희는 다 그리스도 예수님 안에서 하나이니라.
(Gl 3:29) And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
(갈 3:29) 너희가 그리스도께 속한 자면 곧 아브라함의 씨요 약속에 따른 상속자니라.
(Ps 32:13) The Lord looks out of heaven; he beholds all the sons of men.
(시 32:13) 주께서 하늘에서 바라보사 사람들의 모든 아들들을 살피시는도다.
(Ps 32:14) He looks from his prepared habitation on all the dwellers on the earth;
(시 32:14) 그분께서 예비된 처소에서 땅의 모든 거주민들을 보시는도다.
(Ps 32:15) who fashioned their hearts alone; who understands all their works.
(시 32:15) 그분 홀로 그들의 마음을 만드셨고 그들의 모든 일들을 아시는도다.
(Ps 32:16) A king is not saved by reason of a great host; and a giant shall not be delivered by the greatness of his strength.
(시 32:16) 큰 군대로 구원받는 왕이 없으며 용사가 그의 큰 힘으로 구원받지 못하는도다.
(Ps 32:17) A horse is vain for safety; neither shall he be delivered by the greatness of his power.
(시 32:17) 말(馬)도 안전을 위해서는 헛되니 그의 큰 힘으로 구원받지 못하는도다.
(Ps 32:18) Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on them that fear him, those that hope in his mercy;
(시 32:18) 보라, 주의 눈은 그분을 두려워하는 자들과 그분의 자비를 바라는 자들에게 있나니
(Ps 32:19) to deliver their souls from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
(시 32:19) 그들의 혼을 사망에서 구하시고 그들을 기근에도 살도록 지키시려 함이로다.
(Ps 32:20) Our soul waits on the Lord; for he is our helper and defender.
(시 32:20) 우리의 혼이 주를 기다리나니 그분은 우리를 돕고 보호하시는 분이시로다.
(Ps 32:21) For our heart shall rejoice in him, and we have hoped in his holy name.
(시 32:21) 우리의 마음이 그분을 기뻐하고 우리는 그분의 거룩한 이름을 신뢰하는도다.
(Ps 32:22) Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we have hoped in thee.
(시 32:22) 오 주여 우리가 주를 신뢰하는 대로 우리에게 주의 자비를 베푸소서.
(Ps 33:1) I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall be continually in my mouth.
(시 33:1) 내가 항상 주를 찬송하리니 그분을 찬양함이 내 입에 항상 있으리로다
(Ps 33:2) My soul shall boast herself in the Lord: let the meek hear, and rejoice.
(시 33:2) 내 혼이 주 안에서 자랑하리니 온유한 자들이 듣고 기뻐하리로다.
(Ps 33:3) Magnify ye the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
(시 33:3) 너희들아 나와 함께 주를 크게 찬양하고 우리가 함께 그분의 이름을 높이자.
(Ps 33:4) I sought the Lord diligently, and he hearkened to me, and delivered me from all my sojournings.
(시 33:4) 내가 간절히 주를 찾으매 주께서 나를 들으시고 내 모든 두려움에서 나를 건지셨도다.
(Ps 33:5) Draw near to him, and be enlightened: and your faces shall not by any means be ashamed.
(시 33:5) 그분께 가까이 나아가 빛을 받으면 너희 얼굴이 결코 부끄러움을 당하지 아니하리로다.
(Ps 33:6) This poor man cried, and the Lord hearkened to him, and delivered him out of all his afflictions.
(시 33:6) 이 가엾은 자가 부르짖으매 주께서 그를 들으시고 그의 모든 고난에서 그를 구하셨도다.
(Ps 33:7) The angel of the Lord will encamp round about them that fear him, and will deliver them.
(시 33:7) 주의 천사가 그분을 두려워하는 자들을 둘러 진치고 그들을 구하리로다.
(Ps 33:8) Taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man who hopes in him.
(시 33:8) 주께서 선하심을 맞보아 알지어다. 그분을 신뢰하는 자는 복되도다.
(Ps 33:9) Fear the Lord, all ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
(시 33:9) 너희 모든 주의 성도들아 그분을 두려워하라. 그분을 두려워하는 자들에게는 부족함이 없도다.
(Ps 33:10) The rich have become poor and hungry: but they that seek the Lord diligently shall not want any good thing. Pause.
(시 33:10) 부자들은 가난하여 주리게 될지라도 주를 간절히 구하는 자들은 모든 좋은 것에 부족함이 없으리로다.
(Ps 33:11) Come, ye children, hear me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
(시 33:11) 너희 자녀들아 와서 나를 들으라. 내가 너희에게 주를 두려워함을 가르치리라.
(Ps 33:12) What man is there that desires life, loving to see good days?
(시 33:12) 생명을 원하고 좋은 날들 보기를 사랑하는 자가 누구냐?
(Ps 33:13) Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
(시 33:13) 네 혀를 악으로부터 지키고 네 입술을 교활하게 말하는 것으로부터 지킬지어다.
(Ps 33:14) Turn away from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
(시 33:14) 악으로부터 떠나고 선을 행하며 화평을 구하고 그것을 따르라.
(Ps 33:15) The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer:
(시 33:15) 주의 눈이 의로운 자들 위에 있고 그분의 귀가 그들의 기도에 열려있도다.
(Ps 33:16) but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to destroy their memorial from the earth.
(시 33:16) 주의 얼굴은 악을 행하는 자들을 대적하사 그들에 대한 기억을 땅에서 끊으시는도다.
(Ps 33:17) The righteous cried, and the Lord hearkened to them, and delivered them out of all their afflictions.
(시 33:17) 의로운 자들이 부르짖으매 주께서 그들을 들으시고 그들의 모든 고난에서 그들을 구하시는도다.
(Ps 33:18) The Lord is near to them that are of a contrite heart; and will save the lowly in spirit.
(시 33:18) 주께서는 참회하는 마음을 가진 자들에게 가까이 계시며 영이 겸손한 자를 구원하시는도다.
(Ps 33:19) Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but out of them all the Lord will deliver them.
(시 33:19) 의로운 자들에게는 고난이 많으나 주께서 그 모든 것에서 그들을 구하시는도다.
the righteous: those who trust and follow Jesus Christ (God)
의로운 자들: 예수 그리스도(하나님) 믿고 따르는 자들
(Rm 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
(롬 3:23) 모든 사람이 죄를 지어 [하나님]의 영광에 이르지 못하더니
(Rm 3:24) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus：
(롬 3:24) 그리스도 예수님 안에 있는 구속(救贖)을 통해 하나님의 은혜로 값없이 의롭게 되느니라.
(Rm 3:25) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
(롬 3:25) 그분을 [하나님]께서 그분의 피를 믿는 믿음을 통한 화해 헌물로 제시하셨으니 이것은 [하나님]께서 참으심을 통해 과거의 죄들을 사면하심으로써 자신의 의를 밝히 드러내려 하심이요,
(Rm 3:26) To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness： that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
(롬 3:26) 내가 말하거니와 이때에 자신의 의를 밝히 드러내사 자신이 의롭게 되며 또 예수님을 믿는 자를 의롭게 만드는 이가 되려 하심이라.
(Ps 144:17) The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
(시 144:17) 주께서는 그분의 모든 길들에서 의로우시며 그분의 모든 일들에서 거룩하시도다.
(Ps 144:18) The Lord is near to all that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
(시 144:18) 주께서는 그분을 부르는 모든 자들, 진리 안에서 그분을 부르는 모든 자들에게 가까이 계시도다.
(Ps 144:19) He will perform the desire of them that fear him: and he will hear their supplication, and save them.
(시 144:19) 그분께서 그분을 두려워하는 자들의 바라는 것을 이행하시며 그들의 간구를 들으시고 그들을 구원하시리로다.
(Ps 144:20) The Lord preserves all that love him: but all sinners he will utterly destroy.
(시 144:20) 주께서 그분을 사랑하는 모든 자들을 보존하시나 모든 죄인들은 완전히 멸하시리로다.
(Ps 144:21) My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
(시 144:22) 내 입이 주의 찬양을 말하리니 모든 육체가 그분의 거룩한 이름을 영원히 찬송하게 할지어다.
The Lord: Jesus Christ who cleans us from our sins with his own blood
주: 자신의 피로 우리를 우리의 죄들에서 깨끗하게 하시는 예수 그리스도
(Acts 20:28) Take hede therfore vnto youre selves and to all the flocke wherof the holy goost hath made you oversears to shepherd the congregacion of God which he hath purchased with his bloud.
(사도행전 20:28) 그러므로 성령께서 그분의 피로 사신 하나님의 회중을 먹이게 하시려고 너희를 감독자로 삼으셨으니 너희 자신과 온 양 떼에게 주의를 기울이라.
his blood: God’s blood = the blood of Jesus Christ
그분의 피: 하나님의 피 = 예수 그리스도의 피
Only the blood of Jesus Christ(God) can clean us from our sins and set us free from the bondage of sin and death.
오직 예수 그리스도(하나님)의 피만이 우리를 우리 죄들에서 깨끗하게 하고 죄와 사망의 속박으로부터 벗어나게 합니다.
Acts 20:28 testifies that Jesus Christ is God.
사도행전 20:28은 예수 그리스도께서 하나님이심을 증거합니다.
Acts 20:28 is to spirit-filled spiritual elders of God’s congregation, who have the testimony of Jesus Christ and keep his commandments.
사도행전 20:28은 예수 그리스도의 증언을 가지고 그분의 명령들을 지키는, 하나님의 회중의 성령 충만한 영적 연장자들에게 하는 말씀입니다.

A person who knows the authority and power of God, praises and hopes in him
하나님의 권위와 능력을 알고 그분을 찬양하고 의지하는 자
(Ps 140:8) For mine eyes are to thee, O Lord God: I have hoped in thee; take not away my life.
(시 140:8) 오 주 하나님 내 눈이 주를 향하며 내가 주를 신뢰하오니 내 생명을 거두어가지 마소서.
(Ps 140:9) Keep me from the snare which they have set for me, and from the stumbling-blocks of them that work iniquity.
(시 140:9) 그들이 나를 잡으려고 놓은 올무와 불법을 행하는 자들의 걸림돌들에서 나를 지키소서.
(Ps 140:10) Sinners shall fall by their own net: I am alone until I shall escape.
(시 140:10) 죄인들은 스스로 친 그물에 걸려 넘어질 것이나 피할 때까지 나는 혼자이리로다.
(Ps 5:11) But let all that trust on thee be glad in thee: they shall exult for ever, and thou shalt dwell among them; and all that love thy name shall rejoice in thee.
(시 5:11) 그러나 주를 신뢰하는 모든 자들은 주 안에서 기뻐하게 하소서. 그들은 영원히 찬양하며 주께서는 그들 가운데 거하시니 주의 이름을 사랑하는 모든 자들이 주 안에서 기뻐하리이다.
(Ps 5:12) For thou, Lord, shalt bless the righteous: thou hast compassed us as with a shield of favour.
(시 5:11) 주여 주께서 의로운 자들에게 복주시고 호의의 방패로 우리를 두르셨나이다.
(Ps 9:9) The Lord also is become a refuge for the poor, a seasonable help, in affliction.
(시 9:9) 주께서는 또한 가난한 자들의 피난처가 되시며 고난의 때에 적절한 도움이 되시나이다.
(Ps 9:10) And let them that know thy name hope in thee: for thou, O Lord, hast not failed them that diligently seek thee.
(시 9:10) 오 주여 주께서는 주를 간절히 찾는 자들을 실망시키지 않으시니 주의 이름을 아는 자들이 주를 신뢰하게 하소서.
(Ps 9:11) Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Sion: declare his dealings among the nations.
(시 9:11) 시온에 거하시는 주께 찬양드리며 민족들 가운데 그분의 행하시는 일들을 선포할지어다.
(Ps 9:12) For he remembered them, in making inquisition for blood: he has not forgotten the supplication of the poor.
(시 9:12) 그분께서 피에 대해 심문하실 때 그들을 기억하셨고 가난한 자들의 간구를 잊지 않으셨도다.
(Ps 39:1) I waited patiently for the Lord; and he attended to me, and hearkened to my supplication.
(시 39:1) 내가 끈기 있게 주를 기다렸더니 그분께서 나를 보살피사 나의 간구를 들으시고
(Ps 39:2) And he brought me up out of a pit of misery, and from miry clay: and he set my feet on a rock, and ordered my goings aright.
(시 39:2) 나를 비참한 구덩이와 수렁에서 건지사 내 발을 바위 위에 두시고 나의 걸음을 곧게 명하셨도다.
(Ps 39:3) And he put a new song into my mouth, even a hymn to our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall hope in the Lord.
(시 39:3) 또 그분께서 새 노래 곧 우리 하나님께 드릴 찬송을 내 입에 두셨으니 많은 사람들이 그것을 보고 두려워하며 주를 신뢰하리로다.
(Ps 39:4) Blessed is the man whose hope is the name of the Lord, and who has not regarded vanities and false frenzies.
(시 39:4) 헛된 것들과 거짓된 열광들에 주목하지 아니하고 주의 이름이 소망인 자들은 복되도다.
(Ps 15:1) Keep me, O Lord; for I have hoped in thee.
(시 15:1) 오 주여 내가 주를 신뢰하오니 나를 지키소서.
(Ps 15:2) I said to the Lord, Thou art my Lord; for thou hast no need of my goodness.
(시 15:2) 내가 주께 말하기를 주께는 나의 선함이 필요하지 아니하시니 주는 나의 주이시니이다.
(Ps 15:3) On behalf of the saints that are in his land, he has magnified all his pleasure in them.
(시 15:3) 그분의 손에 있는 성도들을 대신하여 그분께서 그분의 모든 기쁨을 그들 안에 크게 하셨도다.
(Ps 15:4) Their weaknesses have been multiplied: afterward they hasted. I will by no means assemble their bloody meetings, neither will I make mention of their names with my lips.
(시 15:4) 그들의 약점들이 늘어나서 후에는 조급해하였나이다. 나는 결코 그들의 피비린내 나는 모임들을 소집하지 않을 것이며 내 입술로 그들의 이름을 언급하지도 않으리이다.
(Ps 15:5) The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou art he that restores my inheritance to me.
(시 15:5) 주께서 나의 유업과 내 잔의 몫이오니 주께서 나의 유업을 나에게 되찾아 주시는 분이시니이다.
(Ps 16:7) Shew the marvels of thy mercies, thou that savest them that hope in thee.
(시 16:7) 주를 신뢰하는 자들에게 주의 놀라운 자비를 보여주소서.
(Ps 16:8-9) 8 Keep me as the apple of the eye from those that resist thy right hand: thou shalt screen me by the covering of thy wings, 9 from the face of the ungodly that have afflicted me: mine enemies have compassed about my soul.
(시 16:8-9) 주의 오른손을 대적하는 자들로부터 나를 눈동자같이 지키시고 나를 괴롭히는 불경건한 자들의 얼굴로부터 주의 날개들로 덮어 감추소서. 나의 원수들이 나의 혼을 둘러쌌나이다.
(Ps 16:10) They have enclosed themselves with their own fat: their mouth has spoken pride.
(시 16:10) 그들은 그들 스스로의 기름으로 둘렀고 그들의 입으로 교만하게 말하나이다.
(Ps 16:11) They have now cast me out and compassed me round about: they have set their eyes so as to bow them down to the ground.
(시 16:11) 그들이 나를 쫓아내 둘러 진치고 땅에 엎드려 그들의 눈을 고정했나이다.
(Ps 16:12) They laid wait for me as a lion ready for prey, and like a lion’s whelp dwelling in secret places.
(시 16:12) 그들이 먹잇감을 잡는 사자같이, 은밀한 곳에 서식하는 사자새끼같이 나를 노리나이다.
(Ps 16:13) Arise, O Lord, prevent them, and cast them down: deliver my soul from the ungodly; draw thy sword,
(시 16:13) 오 주여 일어나 그들을 막으시고 내던지사 불경건한 자들로부터 내 혼을 구하소서. 주의 칼을 빼소서.
(Ps 16:14) because of the enemies of thine hand: O Lord, destroy them from the earth; scatter them in their life, though their belly has been filled with thy hidden treasures: they have been satisfied with uncleanness, and have left the remnant of their possessions to their babes.
(시 16:14) 주의 손을 대적하는 원수들로 인함이니이다. 그들의 배가 주의 감추어진 보물들로 채워졌을지라도 오 주여 그들을 땅에서 멸하시고 그들의 삶이 헛되게 하소서. 그들이 부정한 것들로 만족하고 그들의 남은 소유를 그들의 새끼들한테 물려주었나이다.

(시 36:39) 그러나 의로운 자들의 구원은 주의 것이니 그분은 고난의 때에 그들의 보호자이시로다.
(Ps 36:40) And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: and he shall rescue them from sinners, and save them, because they have hoped in him.
(시 36:40) 주께서 그들을 도우시고 구원하시리니 그들이 그분을 신뢰하므로 그분께서 그들을 죄인들로부터 구출하시리로다.
(Ps 39:8) I desired to do thy will, O my God, and thy law in the midst of mine heart.
(시 39:8) 오 나의 하나님이여 내가 주의 뜻 행하기를 갈망하오니 주의 법이 내 마음 중심에 있나이다.
(Ps 39:9) I have preached righteousness in the great congregation; lo! I will not refrain my lips; O Lord, thou knowest my righteousness.
(시 39:9) 내가 큰 회중 가운데서 의를 선포하였사오니 보소서! 오 주여 내가 내 입술을 금하지 아니하리이다.
(Ps 39:10) I have not hid thy truth within my heart, and I have declared thy salvation; I have not hid thy mercy and thy truth from the great congregation.
(시 39:10) 내가 주의 진리를 내 마음속에 감추어두지 아니하고 주의 구원을 선포하였으며 주의 자비와 주의 진리를 큰 회중에게 숨기지 아니하였나이다.
(Jn 14:15) If ye love me, keep my commandments.
(요 14:15) ¶ 너희가 나를 사랑하면 내 명령들을 지키라.
(Jn 14:16) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
(요 14:16) 내가 [아버지]께 구할 터인즉 그분께서 또 다른 [위로자]를 너희에게 주사 그분께서 영원토록 너희와 함께 거하게 하시리니
(Jn 14:17) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him： but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
(요 14:17) 곧 진리의 [영]이시라. 세상은 그분을 받아들이지 못하나니 이는 세상이 그분을 보지도 못하고 알지도 못하기 때문이라. 그러나 너희는 그분을 아나니 이는 그분께서 너희와 함께 거하시며 또 너희 속에 계실 것이기 때문이라.
(Jn 14:18) I will not leave you comfortless： I will come to you.
(요 14:18) 내가 너희를 위로 없이 버려두지 아니하고 너희에게로 오리라.
(Jn 14:19) Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me： because I live, ye shall live also.
(요 14:19) 조금 있으면 세상은 더 이상 나를 보지 못하되 너희는 나를 보리니 내가 살아 있으므로 너희도 살리라.
(Jn 14:20) At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
(요 14:20) 그 날에는 내가 내 [아버지] 안에, 너희가 내 안에, 내가 너희 안에 있음을 너희가 알리라.
(Jn 14:21) He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me： and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
(요 14:21) 내 명령들을 가지고 그것들을 지키는 자가 나를 사랑하는 자니 나를 사랑하는 자는 내 [아버지]께 사랑을 받을 것이요, 나도 그를 사랑하여 그에게 나를 나타내리라, 하시니라.
(Jn 14:22) Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
(요 14:22) 가룟이 아닌 유다가 그분께 이르되, [주]여, 어찌 주께서 우리에게는 자신을 나타내시고 세상에는 아니하려 하시나이까? 하매
(Jn 14:23) Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words： and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
(요 14:23) 예수님께서 그에게 대답하여 이르시되, 사람이 나를 사랑하면 내 말들을 지키리니 내 [아버지]께서 그를 사랑하실 것이요, 우리가 그에게 가서 우리의 거처가 그와 함께 있게 하리라.
(Jn 14:24) He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings： and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
(요 14:24) 나를 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 내 말들을 지키지 아니하나니 너희가 듣는 말은 내 것이 아니요, 나를 보내신 [아버지]의 것이니라.
(Jn 14:25) These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
(요 14:25) 내가 아직 너희와 함께 있으며 이것들을 너희에게 말하였거니와
(Jn 14:26) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(요 14:26) [위로자] 곧 [아버지]께서 내 이름으로 보내실 [성령] 그분께서 너희에게 모든 것을 가르치시고 내가 너희에게 무엇을 말하였든지 너희가 모든 것을 기억하게 하시리라.
(1Jn 2:3) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
(요일 2:3) 또 우리가 그분의 명령들을 지키면 이로써 우리가 그분을 아는 줄 우리가 아느니라.
(1Jn 2:4) He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
(요일 2:4) 내가 그분을 아노라, 하면서 그분의 명령들을 지키지 아니하는 자는 거짓말하는 자요 진리가 그 속에 있지 아니하되
(1Jn 2:5) But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected： hereby know we that we are in him.
(요일 2:5) 누구든지 그분의 말씀을 지키면 그 사람 안에서 참으로 [하나님]의 사랑이 완전하게 되었나니 이로써 우리가 그분 안에 있는 줄 우리가 아느니라.
(1Jn 2:6) He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
(요일 2:6) 자기가 그분 안에 거한다고 말하는 자는 그분께서 걸은 것 같이 스스로 또한 그렇게 걸어야 할지니라.
(1Jn 2:7) Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
(요일 2:7) 형제들아, 내가 새 명령을 너희에게 쓰지 아니하고 너희가 처음부터 가졌던 옛 명령을 쓰노니 그 옛 명령은 너희가 처음부터 들은 그 말씀이니라.
(1Jn 2:8) Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you： because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
(요일 2:8) 또 다시 내가 너희에게 새 명령을 쓰노니 그것은 그분 안에서와 너희 안에서 참된 것이니라. 이는 어둠이 지나가고 이제 참 빛이 비치기 때문이니라.
(1Jn 2:9) He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
(요일 2:9) 자기가 빛 가운데 있다고 말하면서 자기 형제를 미워하는 자는 지금까지도 어둠 가운데 있느니라.
(1Jn 2:10) He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
(요일 2:10) 자기 형제를 사랑하는 자는 빛 가운데 거하며 그 속에 걸려 넘어지게 할 것이 전혀 없으나
(1Jn 2:11) But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
(요일 2:11) 자기 형제를 미워하는 자는 어둠 가운데 있고 어둠 가운데 걸으며 자기가 어디로 가는지 알지 못하나니 이는 그 어둠이 그의 눈을 멀게 하였기 때문이라.
(1Jn 3:23) And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
(요일 3:23) 그분의 명령은 이것이니 곧 우리가 그분의 [아들] 예수 그리스도의 이름을 믿고 그분께서 우리에게 명령을 주신 대로 서로 사랑하는 것이라.
(1Jn 3:24) And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
(요일 3:24) 그분의 명령들을 지키는 자는 그분 안에 거하고 그분은 그 안에 거하시나니 그분께서 우리에게 주신 성령으로 말미암아 그분께서 우리 안에 거하시는 줄 이로써 우리가 아느니라.
(1Jn 3:14) We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
(요일 3:14) 우리가 형제들을 사랑하므로 사망에서 생명으로 옮겨간 줄을 우리가 알거니와 자기 형제를 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 사망 안에 거하느니라.
(1Jn 3:15) Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer： and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
(요일 3:15) 누구든지 자기 형제를 미워하는 자는 살인하는 자니 살인하는 자 속에는 영원한 생명이 거하지 아니하는 줄 너희가 아느니라.
(1Jn 3:16) Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us： and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
(요일 3:16) [하나님]께서 우리를 위해 자신의 생명을 내놓으셨으므로 이로써 우리가 그분의 사랑을 깨닫나니 우리가 형제들을 위해 우리의 생명을 내놓는 것이 마땅하니라.
(1Jn 3:17) But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
(요일 3:17) 그러나 누가 이 세상의 좋은 것을 가지고 있으면서 자기 형제가 궁핍한 것을 보고도 동정하는 마음을 닫아 그를 피하면 어찌 [하나님]의 사랑이 그 속에 거하겠느냐?
(1Jn 3:18) My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
(요일 3:18) 나의 어린 자녀들아, 우리가 말과 혀로만 사랑하지 말고 오직 행함과 진실함으로 하자.
(1Jn 3:19) And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
(요일 3:19) 이로써 우리가 진리에 속한 줄을 알고 또 그분 앞에서 우리의 마음을 확고히 하리로다.
(1Jn 4:20) If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar： for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
(요일 4:20) 어떤 사람이, 나는 [하나님]을 사랑하노라, 하고 자기 형제를 미워하면 그는 거짓말하는 자니 자기가 본 자기 형제를 사랑하지 아니하는 자가 어찌 자기가 보지 못한 [하나님]을 사랑할 수 있으리요?
(1Jn 4:21) And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
(요일 4:21) [하나님]을 사랑하는 자는 또한 자기 형제를 사랑하라는 이 명령을 우리가 그분께 받았느니라.
