(Is 6:1) And it came to pass in the year in which king Ozias died, that I saw the Lord sitting on a high and exalted throne, and the house was full of his glory.
(사 6:1) 그리고 웃시야 왕이 죽던 해에 내가 보니 주께서 높이 들린 보좌에 앉으셨는데 집이 그분의 영광으로 가득하고
(Is 6:2) And seraphs stood round about him: each one had six wings: and with two they covered their face, and with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew.
(사 6:2) 여섯 날개를 가진 스랍들이 그분 주위에 둘러 서 있는데 두 날개로는 자기 얼굴을 가리고 두 날개로는 자기 발을 가리며 두 날개로는 날더라.
(Is 6:3) And one cried to the other, and they said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
(사 6:3) 하나가 다른 하나에게 외쳐 이르되, 거룩하다, 거룩하다, 거룩하다, 만군의 주여, 그분의 영광이 온 땅에 충만하도다, 하더라.
(Is 6:4) And the lintel shook at the voice they uttered, and the house was filled with smoke.
(사 6:4) 그들이 외치는 소리에 상인방이 흔들리고 그 집이 연기로 가득하더라.
(Is 6:5) And I said, Woe is me, for I am pricked to the heart; for being a man, and having unclean lips, I dwell in the midst of a people having unclean lips; and I have seen with mine eyes the King, the Lord of hosts.
(사 6:5) 그때에 내가 이르기를, 내 마음이 찔리는 화가 있으니 나는 입술이 부정한 사람이요 또 입술이 부정한 백성의 한가운데 거하면서 내 눈이 왕 곧 만군의 주를 보았도다, 하매
(Is 6:6) And there was sent to me one of the seraphs, and he had in his hand a coal, which he had taken off the altar with the tongs:
(사 6:6) 그때에 스랍들 중 하나가 내게 보내져 부집게로 제단에서 취한 숯을 손에 들고
(Is 6:7) and he touched my mouth, and said, Behold, this has touched thy lips, and will take away thine iniquities, and will purge off thy sins.
(사 6:7) 그것을 내 입에 대며 이르되, 보라, 이것이 네 입술에 닿았으니 네 불법이 제거되고 네 죄가 깨끗하게 되리라, 하더라.
(Is 6:8) And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go to this people? And I said, Behold, I am here, send me. And he said, Go, and say to this people,
(사 6:8) 또한 내가 주의 음성을 들었는데 이르시기를, 내가 누구를 보내며 누가 이 백성에게 갈까? 하시더라. 그때에 내가 이르되, 내가 여기 있으니 나를 보내소서 하였더니 그분께서 이 백성에게 가서 말하기를
(Is 6:9) Ye shall hear indeed, but ye shall not understand; and ye shall see indeed, but ye shall not perceive.
(사 6:9) 참으로 너희가 듣되 깨닫지 못하고 참으로 너희가 보되 알지 못하리라 하며
(Is 6:10) For the heart of this people has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
(사 6:10) 이 백성의 마음이 우둔해졌고 그들의 듣는 귀가 둔하고 그들의 눈은 닫혔으니 그들이 그들의 눈으로 보고 귀로 듣고 마음으로 깨달아 회심하지 못하리라 하시기에
(Is 6:11) And I said, How long, O Lord? And he said, Until the cities be deserted by reason of their not being inhabited, and the houses by reason of there being no men, and the land shall be left desolate.
(사 6:11) 내가 말하기를 주여 어느 때까지니이까? 하매 그분께서 대답하시되, 도시들이 피폐하게 되어 거주민이 없으며 가옥들에는 사람이 없고 이 땅이 황폐하게 될 때까지니라.
(Is 6:12) And after this God shall remove the men far off, and they that are left upon the land shall be multiplied.
(사 6:12) 또 이후에 하나님께서 멀리 떨어져 있는 사람들이 없게 하시고 그 땅 한가운데 남겨진 자들이 심히 많아지리라.
(Is 6:13) And yet there shall be a tenth upon it, and again it shall be for a spoil, as a turpentine tree, and as an acorn when it falls out of its husk.
(사 6:13) 그러나 상수리나무와 껍질에서 떨어져 나온 도토리처럼 그곳에 있는 십분의 일이 또 다시 망가지리라, 하시더라.
It is because of our pride and lust that we cannot see and hear and understand God and His will. Fiery trials continue for our repentance, refining, and strength.
하나님과 하나님의 뜻을 보지 못하고 듣지 못하고 깨닫지 못하는 것은 우리의 교만과 탐욕때문입니다. 우리의 회개와 정제와 강함을 위해 불같은 시험들은 계속됩니다.
